Description

My 5-Minute Healthy’ish Bourbon Sauce is rich, buttery, and made with better-for-you ingredients. This quick, boozy topping is perfect for drizzling over ice cream, baked or fresh fruit, yogurt, or healthier desserts for an instant flavor boost!

Instructions

  1. Add butter to a small pot over low heat. 
  2. Once it starts melting, whisk in the coconut palm sugar and let it dissolve. 
  3. Cook for 1–2 minutes, then remove from heat and stir in the bourbon. 
  4. Whisk well, then return it to the stove for another minute.
  5. Taste and if using unsalted butter, add a pinch of salt.
  6. For a creamier texture, stir in a splash of coconut milk or your preferred milk. 
  7. Now, pour this sauce over your favorite treats and enjoy!
