APPLE GINGER FESTIVE FIZZ MOCKTAIL
The holidays are here, and I want to bring you some cheer! This is my Apple Ginger Festive Fizz Mocktail, and it’s basically my favorite way to sip through the season.
I genuinely adore this time of year. The giving, the receiving, the gatherings with friends and family, the cozy nights, the loud parties, the moments that make you pause and reflect. It’s all part of the magic. But let’s be honest, it’s also the season where we eat more, drink more, and sometimes feel a little… off by the end of it all.
That’s exactly why I love mocktails. And truthfully, what I love even more are the mocktails I create myself. They’re made with feel-good ingredients, they taste amazing, and they don’t leave you questioning your life choices the next day!
This one has a lot going on in the best way. There’s natural sweetness from the apple juice, a bright tang from the apple cider vinegar, warmth from the ginger, and just enough cinnamon to make it feel festive without screaming holiday spice overload. It’s refreshing, lively, cozy, and honestly just plain enjoyable.
I make mocktails like this all the time. My friends love them, my family asks for them, and I happily sip them right alongside everyone else. You can also add your favorite spirit if you want!. Since this starts with pure juice and nothing concentrated, it still feels like a better choice if you’re going to indulge.
Because if we’re treating ourselves during the holidays, it might as well be with something that tastes great and gives back a little, too.
I can’t wait for you to try this one, and I hope you love it as much as I do!

HOW I MADE-OVER THIS MOCKTAIL:
No sugary mixes here, just real ingredients!
Pure apple juice provides natural sweetness along with antioxidants from apples. Ginger juice adds warmth and gingerols that support digestion and overall wellness. Ceylon cinnamon contributes antioxidants and pairs beautifully with apple without overpowering the drink. Apple cider vinegar adds a bright tang and may help support balanced blood sugar. Spindrift Fiji apple sparkling water brings clean bubbles without added sweeteners!
This recipe is nut-free, gluten-free, refined-sugar-free, egg-free, dairy-free, soy-free, paleo, grain-free, vegetarian, and vegan.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
(Use organic ingredients when possible)
Pure apple juice
Ginger juice
Ceylon cinnamon
Apple cider vinegar
Spindrift Fiji apple sparkling water
Ice
Apple slices to garnish
THIS IS HOW YOU’LL MAKE IT:
Start by choosing a pure apple juice, not a concentrated one, since it creates the base of this mocktail and you want that flavor to shine! A brand I love is linked in the recipe card for you.
Add the apple juice to a shaker along with the apple cider vinegar, ginger juice, and cinnamon. Shake everything together for a few seconds so the cinnamon has time to bloom and release its flavor.
Add ice to two glasses. Pour the mixture evenly into each glass, then top with the Fiji apple sparkling water. Never add sparkling water to the shaker because shaking it will flatten the bubbles. And we do not want that!
If you’d like to add a splash of vodka or another spirit, feel free to do so. Regardless, this drink is healthier than most sugary cocktails you get at a bar or from a store-bought mix, which is exactly why homemade cocktails will always be a favorite!
Add an apple slice and a colorful straw if you’re feeling fancy and take that first festive sip!
Happy holidays!

SERVING SUGGESTIONS:
Serve it chilled or over ice.
Garnish with a thin apple slice and a cinnamon stick for a festive touch.
MITA’S MUST-KNOW TIP:
When perfecting any recipe, the right amount of salt, spices, and sweeteners depends on the size and flavor of the produce you use, and that might be different from what I used when I developed this recipe. Your zucchini might be tiny compared to mine, your strawberries could be on the verge of being jam, and your tomatoes might be less tomato-y than expected, so taste as you go! If you add more veggies or swap anything in, a little seasoning tweak might be needed. You can totally make this dish your own, and if you go a little overboard, you can probably fix it. But tasting often means you won’t need a backup plan… or a backup meal!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: I’m swamped with cooking! Can I make this mocktail ahead of time?
A: I get it and YES! You can mix everything except the sparkling water ahead of time. Add the bubbles right before serving so the drink stays fizzy.
Q: Can I use ground ginger instead of ginger juice?
A: This hasn’t been tested, but a small pinch should work. Adjust until you can taste the ginger. If you try it, please let me know how it goes in the comments!
Q: Can I skip the apple cider vinegar?
A: Hmm. I wouldn’t, because it really adds something special here. Leaving it out makes the sip a bit sweeter, but the vinegar brings a nice tang.
STORAGE AND LEFTOVERS:
If you have any leftover mixture without sparkling water, store it in the fridge for up to three days.
Add fresh sparkling water when serving so the drink stays fizzy.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
For more sweetness, increase the apple juice slightly.
Ceylon cinnamon is preferred because it offers more benefits than other types, but use what you have!
NUTRITIONAL VALUES:
I don’t include nutritional values in my recipes because I believe in intuitive eating and balanced nutrition. Since ingredient brands can vary, the numbers aren’t always consistent. If you’d like a more accurate breakdown, I recommend entering this recipe into MyFitnessPal or a similar tracker.
